About Funky Monkey Bikes

FMB started with a simple idea: if I couldn’t find the kind of bike shop I wanted to trust with my own bike, I’d build it myself.

I’m the person behind Campono Creative, a photography and content business built around telling real stories through strong visuals. Photography has always been how I notice the details—the materials, the process, the personality, and the work that makes something worth sharing.

After moving from Colorado to New Hampshire, I was looking for a local shop where I could bring my bike and feel confident it would be treated with care. I didn’t find the right fit. So, I turned a personal need into a side project I could have some fun with Funky Monkey Bikes (FMB).

FMB is where my love for bikes, hands-on builds, and creative work come together. It gives me a place to build, repair, experiment, and create something that feels personal—then use my photography skills to document the process and showcase every finished bike properly.

A creative side project with real intention

FMB is a fun business, but it is built on a real appreciation for quality work and honest craftsmanship. It is a space to combine practical bike work with creative storytelling—showing the before, the process, and the finished build instead of hiding the work behind the result.

Because every bike deserves more than a quick fix. It deserves to be ridden, enjoyed, and seen.

Built for the details

Every build has a story. The components chosen, the condition it arrived in, the problems solved, and the small decisions that make the final result feel right all matter.

At FMB, the goal is not to rush through work or make every bike look the same. It’s to give each project the time, attention, and personality it deserves—whether that means bringing an old bike back to life, refining a favorite ride, or building something unique from the ground up.
